Private guided Cu Chi tunnels tour starts and ends in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). You will be picked up from your hotel by 7 seater SUV, and we heading to Cu Chi tunnels. On arrival, before we start exploring the tunnels, we waching short introduction video how the tunnels were constructed, and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. After that, we explore the remaining area, and tunnel systems. Visiting special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms that located side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, we taste special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon. End trip.

About Cu Chi tunnels

Cu Chi district situated 75 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City and near the Cambodian Moc Bai border. The tunnel network is over 220 km long and the district is still considered a heroic district for its role in the anti American war in Vietnam. Today, Cu Chi district is a peaceful spot with its rice fields where ducks and water buffalos bathing in the rivers. The Cu Chi area still contains much evidence of the horrific battles that took place there.
