About Cam Ranh Airport
Cam Ranh International airport ((IATA: CXR, ICAO: VVCR) located in Cam Ranh town, in Khan Hoa province, and located 35 km from Nha Trang City. Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is for domestic flights, and terminal 2 for international flights. Cam Ranh Air Base was built by the USA Navy, and used by military purposes during the Vietnam war. Reconstruction of Cam Ranh Airport started on 2004, and served only domestic flights. At 2007 – 2009 airport upgraded to an international airport.
